Inquiring minds want to know.

They will still be occurring. As we’ve said before, we’ve been working on refining the process and it takes a lot of coordination and timing. Everyone’s been very busy working on several projects (as you know) and pulling anyone away from these projects means finding the best possible time for them so that it doesn’t impact their work.
Feedback is always appreciated provided it’s constructive.

Q u o t e:
You should consider a way for players to submit questions for the blizzcasts. I’d be interested in knowing, for example, how blizzard designs bosses for raids. I know that was touched on a bit in the last blizzcast, but that was more about translating 40 man naxx to 25 and 10, and didn’t really get into the ‘boss design process’.

We do have a way for players to submit questions for BlizzCasts and have a Q&A section at the end of the casts. Email to blizzcast@blizzard.com and put in the subject line "Blizzcast Q&A" so we can find it.

Q u o t e:Why bother? They’ll select questions that won’t answer the important class balancing questions or ones that they were going to cover anyway and say "OH HEY! we picked this question from the community even though we were going to answer it regardless but it’s a nice way to pretend to care!
Nethaera wrote:
You don’t have to submit a question if you feel it won’t be answered.
It’s Ok. Unfortunately though, we only have so much time to answer questions and try to find questions that might be interesting to the community as a whole as often as possible.

Q u o t e:But since you are posting here Neth, would the Blizzcast if we get Lucky have any gamer input, say … Interviews with some of the beta testers perhaps from WotLK? Have them answer some questions and give some input of what "they" think.

We do want suggestions too on what you’d like to see in the BlizzCast and if we can do them, we will. I can’t guarantee anything, but we are actively watching suggestions sent to the Blizzcast email as well as any comments from the forum posts on it.

Q u o t e:You should make a sticky for people to respond with their comments regarding BlizzCast, I’m sure you would get more responses that way then having people emailing you guys. Reason I’m saying this is because I never even considered making a suggestion to them, primarily because I never knew the option was there.
Nethaera wrote:
We do when we release a new BlizzCast but the email is the best constant place to submit feedback.
Pointyend , I’m not sure if you’re referring to the BlizzCast or not. We do give timeouts to people who feel the need to press issues that aren’t appropriate to be discussed on the forums or who spam and troll.

We will be performing rolling restarts on all US realms on Thursday, July 31 at 5:00AM PDT and all Oceanic realms on Friday, August 1 at 5:00 AM AEST (July 31, 12:00PM PDT) to apply a hotfix. We expect each realm to be down for no longer than fifteen minutes.
15 a month, and I am not satisfied.

Q u o t e:Agreed, I just want to have fun in arena, and I don’t raid anymore because I like to have a life.
When I see a full veng/brutal person outside org/if, most likely they buy their gold, get carried, and use op setups to look "Pro"Oh and they all have retarded guild names like ‘ FASTEN YO SEATBELTZ’
If you are going to come to the forums in an attempt to make a point or garner sympathy for your frustrations with Arenas, it’d be a great idea not to disregard every contrary opinion to yours simply because of some silly prejudice about a player’s race, class, or ability to succeed in the Arenas.
Wotlk Beta Opt-in random selection?
Thursday, July 31st, 2008
Q u o t e:
Ok so im pretty sure no players on ocieanic realms got given a beta key……Im really pissed that i didnt get one as ive always tested on public test realms and would be enjoying testing the wotlk beta very much.
can anyone prove me wrong and did anyone from ocieanic get a beta key @ random.?
Nethaera wrote:
Keys are being sent out in phases. I know people are anxious to get into the beta, but worrying isn’t going to make a key come or come any sooner (if you’re chosen) than it normally would.
