We’re looking to get some feedback on the types of pets that hunters would like to be able to tame and the types of abilities that might be interesting for those pets to have. Is there a type of creature in the game now that you would like to be able to tame or an ability that you’ve always thought should be added? Here’s your chance to share a bit more about what you think could be great additions for the hunter class.

Zod’s works similarly to the talent Wild Quiver. Since Wild Quiver causes extra durability through additional weapon use, Zod’s does too. We will keep an eye on it but don’t have any current plans to change anything unless there is a but resulting in additional durability damage.

The developers believe hunter dps is too low, so today we are implementing a change to ranged weapon damage to improve dps across the board.
Bows, crossbows and guns of item level 226 or higher (which means weapons from Kel’Thuzad, Ulduar and the Furious Gladiator pieces) will do around 30 more dps.

Hi Gailis,
Are you using addons? I would suggest resetting the game options to default and testing again. To reset your game options to default, please use the following steps. With the game at the login screen, click on the "Options" button in the lower right of the screen.

Q u o t e:
hi guys
blizzard can ban your forum posting privileges and your account if they feel like doing so.
they don’t need to disclose the reasons for why they have done so but they usually do so just in hopes of you buying another account and maybe you have learnt your lesson.
the game is governed in an authoritarian manner.
please read the agreement u scrolled down so hastily and clicked " I accept "
they can delete my posts and ban my account for making this post too

The problem with this is that no one ever stickys anything in the hunter forums. We have to bookmark or copy/paste our guides onto our harddrives if we ever want to find them.
Timbal wrote:
I do not deny that this is an issue. As the forum moderators are almost always working through a back log of reports and emails, players typically find a delay in the posting of stickies, if such stickies are created at all.
When threads on the class forums are reported via the Biohazard symbol for sticky, that information is collected and forwarded onto the Community Managers to determine whether or not a thread should be made into a sticky.

No, it isn’t, because it hurt much much more then it helped. Take some extra time and do things right, not like they have anything else to do, they are forum moderators…moderate don’t destroy.

Given the work load of the moderation staff, the nuke function is one of the single most effective tools we have for cleaning up the forums when a particular account is used to post multitudes of inappropriate, malicious, or spam comments.
In order to prevent this type of situation going forward, we are working to ensure that nuking an account’s posting history does not remove any sticky threads of which the account holder was the original poster.
